Spider treatment

spider treatment

For pest management purposes we divide spiders into two large groups - Ground dwelling spiders and Webbing spiders.

An example of ground-dwelling spiders is the white-tail spider, and an example of a webbing spider is the black house spider which leaves cobwebs under the guttering around your home.

Webbing spider populations increase with the volume of food available. A recommendation we make is to replace conventional exterior lighting with non-insect attracting yellow lights. If we can reduce the number of flying insects attracted to your home, we will have an impact on the overall spider population.

If you already have a well-established webbing spider problem, after having brushed your house down of cobwebs we can apply a treatment to the exterior of your home to knock down any remaining webbing spiders.
