  • We apply the principles of Integrated Pest Management. This is a holistic approach to pest control that takes into consideration the target pest, its behavior, and what factors cause it to thrive. Then we take action against the pest all the while trying to limit the use of harmful pest sprays.

  • In some situations, it is necessary to use pest sprays, usually in cases of serious infestation or as a barrier to your property.

When using sprays, we always apply best practice principles such as using the right products in the correct quantities, only treating areas of concern, and being mindful of overspray.

For this reason, we avoid spraying walls and ceilings on the inside of properties for the purpose of controlling flying insects.

  • If it is necessary to use pest sprays at your property, then we recommend your pets be away from the treatment area during and after the treatment for a period of 3 hours. Once the pest spray has had time to dry you and your pets will be fine.

Aquariums must be fully covered with their filters switched off if they are in a treatment area. Aquatic life is very sensitive to pest sprays.

  • Integrated pest management or IPM is the term applied to a style of pest management that relies on the integration of both preventative and corrective measures to manage pests and reduce the problems resulting from a pest infestation.

In an IPM program, pest sprays are not necessarily the first management choice, there will be a range of management methods and practices used such as knowledge of the pest’s ecology, sealing up exit and entry points, removing food sources, and more.

  • We guarantee the quality of our workmanship. By choosing us to manage your pest problem you can be confident that our recommendations and treatments will be safe and effective.
